    This is a very Large vintage wood wall hanging of a Rocking Horse. Very cool, with bright vibrant happy colors of Circus or Carousel. Has hearts and flowers. Crackled finish for added visual interest. Good attention to detail on saddle, breast plate and back. Measures approx 29" long and 24" tall with a depth of 1". The back has one small 2 1/2" hanging hardware. Signed by R.Thomas..
    R. Thomas was a fictitious pseudonym name for works that came from factory type studios that were active from the 1950's through 1970's. These types of original paintings were sold in furniture department stores and decorator shops. There were sold more for decorative wall art purposes as opposed to fine art collector investments.
